Start noticing urban nature in with a special public bioblitz celebrating 100 years of Gosforth Nature Reserve. With the help of friendly experts, we'll aim to discover as many plants and animals throughout the reserve as possible, exploring birds, plants, insects and much more all while enjoying a host of fun activities suitable for all the family.
Join volunteers and naturalists from the Natural History Society of Northumbria and discover the wildlife likely to be spotted here in spring. You can also pick up spotter sheets, grab a net, and get stuck in with something crafty.
This free event is held as part of Gosforth's Wild Web. Everyone is welcome, whether you want to drop in for a few minutes or stay the whole day.
Please meet at the reserve entrance. Grid reference: NZ 26002 69891, What3Words: lots.actor.twins
