In observance of Good Friday, we are bumping from the first Friday to the second Friday in April when we will kick off the Spring with Goodnight Blue Moon and newly named CT State Troubadour Charlie Widmer! GNBM is known for their energetic, honest, and dynamic live performances, offering a refreshing take on Americana roots music. Frank describes the group as a "multi headed musical monster of a band, orchestral bluegrass and magical harmonies with expert instrumentation".
Be sure to check out Charlie Widmer's extensive bio on his website to learn about his impressive solo credentials and you will understand why he was recently named Connecticut's State Troubadour. And many may remember Charlie Widmer with his band "On the Trail" performing at the Olde Church several years ago. We are excited to hear his songs on Apr 10.
