About this Event
This course is designed to help participants explore and understand the key differences between packaged, store-bought foods and meals prepared at home. Throughout the class, students will examine how these two approaches to eating compare in terms of taste, cost, and nutritional value. By focusing on familiar favorites—such as pizza, mashed potatoes, snack foods, and dressing—students will conduct side-by-side comparisons to better understand how preparation methods influence flavor, ingredients, and overall quality.
