About the Presenter:
Trina Benson is a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley. She received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Youngstown State University and has a master’s in public administration. She has served as the DEI Coordinator for Cadence Care Network for the past two and a half years. She also serves as the Race, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator for the Trumbull County and Ashtabula County juvenile courts. She has facilitated DEI related training for local nonprofits including Easter Seals of the Northeast Ohio and Help Network of Northeast Ohio.
Trina enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Derrick and her two nephews, Sincere and Saint. Her desire to help create a better, more justice and equitable world for Sincere and Saint inspires her DEI work.
