At the traditional hour of Christ’s death, we gather at St Paul’s Cathedral to walk the Stations of the Cross.
This contemplative service invites us to follow Jesus on the way of the cross — from condemnation to burial — pausing at each station to pray, reflect, and listen. Through scripture, silence, and movement, we are drawn into the suffering love of Christ and reminded that God is present in every place of pain, injustice, and grief.
The Stations of the Cross allow us to pray not only with our words, but with our bodies, as we trace the path Jesus walked and hold before God the suffering of the world today.
All are welcome to join this solemn and prayerful observance, whether you have walked the Stations many times or are experiencing them for the first time.
This service is part of our Good Friday observance and forms a vital moment within the Great Three Days, as we remain with Christ at the cross and await the hope of Easter.
