Good Friday Service at LifePointFriday, April 3 | 6:00 PM | LifePoint Main Building
***No children's programming, but childcare is available for ages 5 and under.
Good Friday is the day Christians remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. It is the moment in the story where love looks like suffering, forgiveness looks like sacrifice, and hope begins in the darkest place.
The Gospels tell us that on this day Jesus willingly gave His life for the world. As the apostle Paul later wrote, “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Good Friday invites us to slow down and reflect on the weight and beauty of that moment. Through Scripture, music, prayer, and reflection, we remember the cost of grace and prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter.
What to Expect:
If you’ve never been to LifePoint before, you are warmly welcome. Our atmosphere is relaxed and come-as-you-are. Most people dress casually.
The Good Friday service is more reflective than our typical Sunday gathering. You can expect meaningful worship music, Scripture readings from the story of the cross, and a thoughtful message centered on the hope we find in Jesus. The service is designed to help us pause, reflect, and remember the depth of Christ’s love.
Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years or are simply curious about the story of Easter, this is a meaningful place to begin.
