Join us for a Tenebrae (“Shadows”) Good Friday service. This ancient tradition invites us to sit honestly with the weight of the Cross. On Easter Sunday, we will celebrate the victory of Christ, the bloom of Springtime, and the hope of our faith. But on Friday, we remember the brutality of the Cross. Tenebrae leads us through Scripture, silence, and diminishing light as we reflect on Christ’s suffering and the reality of life this side of eternity.
We ask that all who attend enter, receive, and depart in quiet reverence, carrying a solemn awareness of the cost of redemption.
Please note: The content and atmosphere of this service is not appropriate for children ages 6 and under. Children 1st Grade and up are welcome at their parents’ discretion. Our Kids Ministry (infant–6 years) will be available for age appropriate engagement with Good Friday. You are welcome to participate in the service online from home.
