Good Friday is the day when Christians commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. This is an important event in Christianity as it represents the sacrifices and suffering in Jesus’ life. We will be hosting a prayer vigil as a time to meditate and spend some time in quiet prayer.
Join us in prayer throughout the day. You may want to read the following scriptures, which give us a vision of that mournful, yet powerful day: Matthew 27:31-65, Mark 15:22-47, Luke 23:26-55, John 19:16-42. It is humbling to think of the sacrifice made for us!
