Good Brother is launching into 2025 with a show on one of the city's greatest stages, The Retreat Hotel Brunswick, on Thursday January 30th.
Good Brother is an electronic-songwriter-pop act that's been kicking since 2017 whose sound only gets richer and groovier as the years go by. GB will be backed up by Lil' Silky of Ego Problem - adding a touch of grit and a taste of glam.
There will be a coupla fast ones, a coupla slow ones, a coupla old ones and a bunch of new ones.
With McKimmie and Tallulah Grace supporting on the night one thing is for certain - there will be a whooole lot of good ones.
McKimmie play bedroomy shoegaze music. Inspirations for the band include action movies, diss tracks, feeling a bit off, feeling aweseome, etc.
Hailing from Melbourne/Naarm, Australia, Tallulah Grace has an effortless magic that saturates her songwriting. Her live performances balance different instruments and arrangements with ease, to create a unified sound that pulls from the modern folk masters such as Laura Marling or Big Thief. Her music aims to convey the power that is gained from feeling deeply, and feeling together.
