A Night of Movies, Magic & Madness with BBC/BAFTA award winner Martin Gooch.
Step into a world of "fabulously daft" cinema and "kitchen-sink weirdness" at the Goochapalooza.
Recently relocated from London to the US, award-winning director and PGA member Martin Gooch presents a curated "Two Date Tour" of his most imaginative short-form works, including the Darkadelic Trilogy for punk rock legends The Damned.
Described as "the next Terry Gilliam" by Gilliam himself, Gooch’s films are a unique blend of surreal comedy, fantasy, and sci-fi that have captivated audiences worldwide.
The evening includes:
- The Showcase: The program includes a career-spanning selection of shorts featuring an elite ensemble of on-screen talent, including Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Sylvester McCoy (The Hobbit), and Paul Ready (Motherland), Russell Tovey (Being Human) and BAFTA-nominated gaming icon Alix Wilton Regan (Cyberpunk 2077, Dragon Age).
- World Premieres: Be the first to see two brand-new films: the dystopian comedy Kafka’s Appraisal and the Doctor Who fan film Children of Time.
- Cap off the night by connecting with fellow creatives over drinks, or snapping a pic on the red carpet, whilst celebrating the official US launch of Gothic Manor America.
