About:
Guitarist and composer Brian Citro has been playing and writing music on the guitar for over 30 years. A long-time member of The Drastics, he’s performed and toured with JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, Ted Sirota’s Heavyweight Dub!, and others. Brian’s new jazz quartet features some of Chicago’s most in-demand musicians — Quin Kirchner (drums), Matt Ulery (bass), and Nick Mazzarrela (alto sax). For the Golden Hour, Brian will perform music from his new album, Acoustic Pastime – Solo Guitar, released on ears&eyes Records. Brian’s solo guitar performances feature his unique compositions with rich, accessible melodies, unusual song structures, and a wide range of rhythms and feels. He also performs music by Thelonious Monk, Stevie Wonder, and others.
