Ease into your Friday evenings at Golden Hour, a laid-back summer series where music, nature, and community come together as the sun begins to set. On select Fridays from May through September, the Garden comes alive with live music, picnics, and friends gathering to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.NEW THIS YEAR! Thanks to the support of the Huntsville Music Office and the City of Huntsville’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, admission is FREE during Golden Hour events, beginning at 5:00 p.m. through closing*.
*Friday closing times are 8:00 p.m. in May, June, July, and August, and 7:00 p.m. in September.
Golden Hour takes place in the Cedar Glade, but the music drifts throughout the Garden, creating the perfect atmosphere to explore, relax, and unwind. Bring a blanket, stroll the paths, or settle in with friends as the evening unfolds.
Drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—will be available for purchase at the Garden Bar. Guests can also enjoy made-to-order concessions from Fern & Feast On-The-Go, perfect for a casual meal in the Garden.
As the sun falls, the Garden fills with people connecting with nature, listening to live music, enjoying a picnic, and making the most of Friday nights all season long.
*Third Fridays at Golden Hour*
On the third Friday of May, June, July, and August, Golden Hour expands with “Third Fridays,” featuring local makers for a mini market that adds even more creativity and community to the evening.
