About this Event
What many call a W**d is actually one of our most powerful and joyful plant allies. Dandelion has been used for generations for nourishment, healing, and celebration—and in this hands-on workshop, we’ll honor this humble plant by transforming it into a beautiful, traditional dandelion wine.
Join me for a 2-hour make-and-take workshop on Saturday, June 7th, from 2–4 p.m., where you’ll learn the art and history of dandelion wine-making in a relaxed, welcoming community space. Together, we’ll walk through each step of the process—from understanding the plant, to preparation, to fermentation—so you feel confident continuing the process at home.
This workshop is beginner-friendly and rooted in ancestral wisdom, plant knowledge, and slow living. You’ll leave with your own jar of dandelion wine started, plus the knowledge to recreate it for yourself and your family.
🌿 In this workshop, you’ll learn:
- How to properly identify and harvest dandelion flowers
- The traditional and cultural history of dandelion wine
- Step-by-step wine-making basics (no experience needed)
- Fermentation fundamentals and safety tips
- How dandelion supports digestion, liver health, and overall vitality
✨ Participants will also get to sample dandelion wine during the workshop.
All supplies are provided, and each participant will take home their own dandelion wine starter, along with simple instructions to guide the fermentation process.
This is a beautiful opportunity to reconnect with the land, learn something new, and turn a familiar plant into something truly special.
Come sip, learn, and celebrate the magic growing right under our feet.
