About this Event
If you have something in need of repair (clothes, tools, bric-a-brac), bring it along to the event at the Varsity Lakes Community Resource Centre. Or, if you want to learn some new repair skills, come along to watch!
A skilled Fixer will guide you in repairing your own items. If you're just there to watch, you'll see clothing repairs in action and if you have skills that might help, you may choose to volunteer at the next Repair Cafe event.
I'm not quite there with clothing repairs yet, so I'll be taking items in so I can learn how to mend them. For those of you who are sewing experts, you might still learn a thing or two about sewing machine maintenance or repairing and sharpening cutting tools.
We can buy coffees and teas at the Repair Cafe. All welcome! Bring partners and friends.
Event runs from 12pm - 3pm, but I'll see you there from 12pm.
