About this Event
Northern California’s beauty, wealth, climate, and history are inseparable from its seismic setting. Through stories and demo's, you'll learn that the Bay Area’s profound losses in the great 1906 earthquake were science’s great gain. So, we’ll move from the discovery of gold to the discovery of what an earthquake is, and I’ll leave you with the means to assess your own seismic risk and ensure the safety of your own family.
