Such a great location calls for an even greater set of activity options, and truly GOF LX is all about being ‘spoilt for choice’.Social gatherings are a staple at GOFs. We are jump-starting these on the first night with a ‘Knees-Up’ celebration at a local British pub. We will also have a First Timers /First Showing Car Show and Reception, a Meet & Greet BBQ, our main event: the GOF MG Car Show, and finally an Awards Banquet that will have an exciting twist! Additionally, we've added the option of lifestyle seminars to go along with the usual technical sessions and scenic drives.
Also, for the first time ever, a 'Best from Abingdon' trophy will be awarded at a GOF. This award has previously been presented at national MMM shows. We're so honored to have Goldseal, LLC sponsor the trophy and Safety Fast! Restoration's Tom Metcalf as he applies his concours-level judgement to recognize an Abingdon MG, be it an unmolested survivor or restoration that exemplifies the aesthetic details and components original to the model.
