Hosted by the Oxford Pastorate and BioLogos at the University of Oxford's Museum of Natural History. Followed by audience Q&A and a drinks reception in the Museum's Main Court.

Dr Francis Collins
Francis Collins is one of the world’s leading scientists and geneticists. In his early scientific career, he discovered the gene for cystic fibrosis. He led an international collaboration that first mapped the entire human genome and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Medal of Science. In 2009 he was appointed as Director of the National Institutes of Health, where he served three presidents until 2021, including overseeing the country’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He founded BioLogos as a forum to discuss issues at the intersection of faith and science and to celebrate the harmony found there.
Rt Revd Prof N T Wright
N T Wright is a world authority on the apostle Paul and author of more than 80 books. Wright is ordained in the Church of England and was Canon of Westminster from 2000, before serving as Bishop of Durham from 2003-2010. He has held a variety of both academic and chaplaincy posts at Oxford, Cambridge, and McGill University, Montreal. He is Research Professor Emeritus of New Testament and Early Christianity at the University of St Andrews and Senior Research Fellow at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. In 2018, Wright delivered the prestigious Gifford Lectures, published as History and Eschatology: Jesus and the Promise of Natural Theology.

This event is ticketed but is open to all and free to attend, sponsored by the Oxford Pastorate and Biologos with support from Scholarship & Christianity in Oxford (SCIO).
Early Bird tickets will be available for current students and academics, and alumni and supporters of the sponsoring organisations. General Registration tickets are available for members of the public from Monday 2nd March.
You are very welcome to bring friends or colleagues and can book up to four tickets. If you would like to book tickets for a bigger group please email the Oxford Pastorate at [email protected].
School groups are welcome! As alcohol will be served at this event under-18s must be accompanied by an adult and tickets must be registered by the accompanying adult. If you have any questions or want to inquire about bringing groups of more than four under-18s, please email the Oxford Pastorate.
Arrival:
Doors will open from 5:30pm for a prompt 6:00pm start in the Museum's Lecture Theatre. Please have your tickets or booking confirmation available when you arrive.

Drinks Reception:
Join us after the talk for a drinks reception in the Museum's remarkable neo-Gothic Main Court, surrounded by dinosaurs, fossils, and statutes of groundbreaking scientists from history!
Tickets include a free drink. Alcholic and non-alcholic drinks are available. As under-18s will be at this event ID may be required; alcohol will not be served to under-18s.
