About this Event
Goat Yoga is back at GottaGoat Farm for 2026!
Stretch, breathe, laugh… and maybe get climbed on.
Our outdoor Goat Yoga classes combine a relaxing one-hour yoga session with the joyful unpredictability of our miniature goats roaming freely around you to give you a fun-filled two-hour experience. Before class begins, we’ll introduce you to the herd so you know exactly who might be investigating your shoelaces.
Expect:
• Curious noses
• Occasional “goat assists” in your poses
• Lots of laughs
• Adorable photo moments
We practice right in the goats’ home pen, so this is truly yoga in their space.
We offer a mix of Sunday morning/afternoon classes and a few relaxed Wednesday evening sessions — perfect for a midweek reset or a weekend outing with friends and family.
Our classes are intentionally capped at 25 participants to keep the experience personal and relaxed. Many sessions filled quickly last season, so booking early is recommended. Goat Yoga is always more fun with your people — so gather a few friends and make it a mini farm outing!
What to wear & bring:
Goats explore with their mouths! Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting nibbled or a little dirty, and bring a mat or towel you’re comfortable sacrificing to farm life. Avoid loose accessories.
For biosecurity, please do not wear footwear or clothing that has recently been around other farm animals.
Each two-hour class includes:
• A brief meet-and-learn about our goats
• One-hour guided outdoor yoga session
• Time for photos and visiting
Advance registration required.
We’re proud to be celebrating our 10th season of Goat Yoga at the farm! Our instructor is entering her 5th year with us in 2026, and we were even honoured to be voted a Top 3 Favourite for Yoga in the Best of the South Okanagan awards.
FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements?
Because this is a working farm and a full two-hour outdoor experience, our Goat Yoga classes are designed for adults and teens (13+).
If you have a younger child (ages 6–12) who you feel can respectfully participate in the full class alongside you, please contact us before registering to discuss. We may be able to make an exception on a case-by-case basis.
All participants must be registered ticket holders. We are not able to supervise non-participating visitors during class time.
What are my transportation/parking options?
We have limited parking at the farm, so carpooling is encouraged (and makes it more fun!).
We are located approximately 20 minutes west of Penticton, BC. You can use the event map for directions or contact us if you need assistance finding us.
What should I bring?
• A signed waiver (available on our website in advance, or you can sign one when you arrive)
• A yoga mat or towel you don’t mind getting dirty (we have a few loaner mats available)
• Water to stay hydrated
• Your phone/camera for adorable photo opportunities
Optional but recommended:
• Bug spray (please no insect repellent patches — our goats have tried to eat those!)
• Sunscreen
• An extra layer, as it can be cooler at the farm than in town
Important: Please do not wear clothing, footwear, or bring items that have recently been around other farm animals. This helps us protect the health of our goats.
What happens if it rains?
Our Goat Yoga classes are held outdoors in the goats’ home pen.
If we experience light rain, we set up canopies and continue — and last season we successfully ran classes even on a few rainy days with some very willing participants.
If rain is in the forecast, we recommend bringing:
• An extra towel or blanket (to help keep your mat dry)
• A second layer
• A positive, go-with-the-flow attitude
If severe weather is expected (heavy rain, strong winds, or unsafe conditions), we may cancel for safety reasons. In that case, you will be notified by email as early as possible and receive a full refund.
Important: Please always check the email that you registered with before coming for your class to ensure you don't miss any important class messages or schedule changes.
What is the minimum number required for a class to run?
To keep our classes small and personal, we require a minimum of 6 participants for each session.
If a class does not reach the minimum, it may be cancelled and fully refunded. While most of our classes ran at high attendance last season, occasional midweek sessions may be more dependent on early registration.
If you’re booking a Wednesday class, inviting a friend or two is always a great idea!
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable unless we cancel the class.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend — just make sure they know the name under which the ticket was purchased.
Do I need to bring my printed ticket?
No printed ticket is required. As long as you know the name used during registration, we can check you in.
