The Waukegan Park District is hosting the GO WAUKGEAN Spring into Shape on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 12pm to 1pm at Hinkston Park, located at 810 Baldwin Avenue. The free event is intended to encourage the community to walk at least 30 minutes everyday. Come and enjoy the spring sunshine!In collaboration with Lake County Health Department, the Waukegan Park District launched GO WAUKEGAN, a community initiative designed to improve the health and wellness of local residents by enhancing and increasing the shared experience of walking through activities, education, and collaboration.
Preregistration is preferred. In case of inclement weather, the walk will be postponed until a new date has been determined.
