“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” — Psalm 23:5–6
The “table” in Psalm 23 is the mesa—the high tableland the shepherd prepares ahead of time by clearing hazards and scouting water. After the ravine comes rest, renewal, and overflow. This night, we’ll celebrate how faith rests in provision and finishes in presence.
