About this Event

A free event for female STEM students at the University of Salford and surrounding North West Universities.

Here in the Maker Space we’re VERY passionate about inspiring young women into STEM subjects, and as such have developed a networking, coaching and mentoring programme, called Go Beyond, that runs every year and offers our students who identify as female an opportunity to upskill, grow in confidence and build supportive friendship groups.

This year, on the 25th March, we'll be running our third Go Beyond Women in STEM Celebration Event and we’d love you all to be there! This event is for female STEM students to attend, no matter what level of study. We want to celebrate our diversity, our difference and the importance of Women in STEM at Salford.

We have a fantastic line up of speakers who will inspire and celebrate with us! Please see the full agenda below. Expect inspirational talks from our Salford community, alumni and industry partners, upskill with the wonderful support teams available at Salford and of course there’ll be the all important cake and freebies!
