About this Event
Gnome Surf — Salty Tribe Wellness Flow Series 2026
Build strength for the water. Build trust in yourself. Get ocean-ready with this 8-week series designed to build the foundational strength, balance, and endurance needed for the waves. Our Salty Tribe Flow Series programming uses a consistent, 45-minute flow to build your confidence through repetition and your power through progression.
The Training:
Towel-Based & Surf-Specific
We utilize towel-based resistance and sliding drills to simulate the unique movements of surfing on land. Every class follows a signature flow:
- Opening Grounding: Arrive in your body and set your intention.
- Lymphatic Activation: Shake off the tension and find your rhythm.
- The Flow Sequence: Mobility and core work to open the hips and spine.
- The Pop-Up Block: Drills to make your transition from board to feet explosive.
- The Paddle Block: Targeted conditioning for shoulder and back endurance.
- Integration: A full surf-simulation circuit to put it all together.
The 8-Week Progression
We move slow to build awareness and fast to build trust. Over 8 weeks, you’ll progress through four distinct phases:
- Weeks 1 & 2 (Foundation): Focus on alignment, slow-motion pop-ups, and building a strong paddle base.
- Weeks 3 & 4 (Building): Introducing towel-slides for agility and increased back-body engagement.
- Weeks 5 & 6 (Power): High-intensity intervals and timed challenges to build explosive strength.
- Weeks 7 & 8 (Flow): Rhythmic, continuous movements and advanced simulations to prep for the summer season.
What to Bring
- A hand towel and a bath towel (This is our primary training tool for resistance and sliding drills!).
- Yoga mat and water.
The Salty Philosophy
Every movement is adjustable. We honor our bodies, stay focused, and carry the strength we build on land directly into the ocean.
