Join the Green Mountain Mashers on the 21st of September for a club brewday focused on using local, 'wet' hops grown right in member Joshua Clarke's backyard, picked right off the bine as we brew! Varieties include Cascade, Centennial, Crystal, Nugget, Comet, Vista, Columbus, and Magnum.Feel free to bring your brewing setup and brew whatever recipe you wish. We'll be setting up in the backyard and brewing right under the hops themselves! :) I only have a spot for one electric brewing set-up in the backyard, so FCFS on that one.
Remember to bring your folding chairs, snacks to share, and whatever beers you'd like to sample throughout the day - mash in will take place somewhere between 8-9 AM.
Please feel free to bring guests/prospective new members/homebrewers out to the event so that they can check out the brewing process firsthand.
