GM Cycling Campaign has a long and proud history of standing up for local cyclists, going back into at least the early 1990s, when it was formally named as Sprocket! Due to active campaigners and organisers moving on, GMCC has not been active since before COVID.
The group had until very recently a varied and informative website, and busy Twitter and Facebook accounts, but all have effectively become and inactive.
In line with the Constitution of the GMCC, an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) is being held on 27th January 2025 to look at a way forward with GMCC.
We would ask for any members or former members still paying the GCC membership fee to attend and help decide the next steps of the organisation.
If you are now or have been at any time a paying member of GMCC please contact Debbie at [email protected] to be added to the circulation list of people so you can be given more details of the EGM. Finally, if you can find your old membership card or letters or emails with the details please advise your membership number when replying to Debbie.
