About this Event

Join us for our third Green & Blue Spaces Action Network event, with special guest Mayor Andy Burnham alongside speakers from community organisations who are linking their nature-based projects to improving health and other industry professionals:
Viv Andrews (The Monastery)
Claire Biggs (SNUG)
Tabz O'Brien (GM Live Well)
Dave Bell (Principal Officer for Health & Environment at Natural England)

This session will shine a spotlight on the proven and vital connection between our green and blue spaces and health, including the new Live Well agenda.
From mental wellbeing to physical health, we’ll explore how our green & blue spaces play a powerful role in keeping communities healthier and happier.

The aim is to continue building best practice, identifying common goals, and sparking action to improve and connect people with green and blue spaces for the benefit of all.
