About this Event
Folks diagnosed with Celiac disease will likely turn to eating at home more
often to help avoid cross contamination, but what if you are not that comfortable in the
kitchen? Come join Kelian & Renée for a lunchtime class and some hands on learning. We’ll
make some great salads that are easy, healthy, filling, GF AND can be prepared in
under 30 minutes.
Kelian (Kel) has always enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. Once she
received her ceilac diagnosis in 2011, she had to do some major adjustments in the
kitchen.
At first, she dove into baking, playing with different ingredients and methodologies.
She then turned her attention fo meals, looking at old favourites and how to give those
recipies a GF “makeover”. More recently she has been looking at preparing quicker
meals that will be healthy and filling, but can be prepared in under 30 minutes.
These, dressings & sauces make great salads will also last in the fridge for several days, so they make great meal preps for a week of lunches or dinners!
You don’t need to eat GF to take this class, but it’s a bonus for those of us who do!
