There’s nothing quite as glorious as a garden in full bloom before the heat of midsummer - and even better when the only work you’re required to do is with pencil and paint, rather than trowel and clippers! Come and join me in the beautiful grounds of Paxton House to explore some garden sketching.I’ll lead you through some warm-ups and then a couple of tutorials, leaving plenty of time to fill some sketchbook pages with whatever catches your eye.
This workshop is one in my Green Sketch Club series - ideal for anyone who has taken my ‘Introduction to Green Sketching’ class, or has some basic drawing and painting experience, but would like to do more sketching outside with a focus on observing and recording nature.
