Told in gripping prose interspersed with poems, this genre-bending novel explores themes of immigration, climate justice, grief, and the power of communities. Celebrate both National Poetry Month and Earth Day month with Gloria Muñoz and Ari Tison (Saints of the Household) at Red Balloon Bookshop!

To attend: This event is open to the public, but registration helps us when considering spatial constraints. You can register for a ticket for free through April 1, 4:00pm, and order the book . Additional copies of This Is the Year will be available for purchase during the event, but ordering ahead guarantees your copy.
