It’s the first time we have had Sensible Shoes as guests but you might remember Julie Pehl who has played for us twice, we’ve been hoping to get Julie and her fellow Shoes to play for us quite a while so this will be a treat.After the multi-instrumental fun of our bands in February and March this will be a very different kind of pleasure. Sensible shoes specialise in beautiful three part harmony singing so it will be an evening to soak up the sound,
We also have our friends Oranjabanj back again with their fresh original songs, having been such a hit at the Grand Ol’ Bowling Club a year ago. Plus your resident stripped down Orchestra of Truth, Gloria Monday of course.
Rethink Mental Illness runs the Sheffield Crisis House, offering 24 hour residential support for people experiencing acute mental health crisis. This short term but very focused intensive support can turn around the lives of people experiencing profound difficulties and distress. All income from ticket sales, raffle and collection will go to Rethink.
