About this Event
In Global Sweatshops: A Feminist Theory of Exploitation and Resistance, Mirjam Müller (Humboldt University Berlin) has developed a groundbreaking feminist critique of working conditions in the global textile industry, which draws on feminist, Marxist, post-/decolonial, and critical race theory. In this book launch, Mirjam Müller will discuss the book's contributions to questions of exploitation, resistance, and emancipation with Paul Apostolidis (LSE), Sarah Goff (LSE), and Virginia Mantouvalou (UCL), and will be chaired by Bruno Leipold (LSE).
