Global Grooves Week: Music, Art and Culture Around the World

Learners will explore music, art and movement from cultures around the world, discovering how pop culture connects communities and inspires creativity. Each day will blend hands-on activities, collaboration and storytelling, giving students opportunities to create, experiment and share their own interpretations.
K-2nd Grades: Little Global Groovers
Young learners will engage in playful exploration of global music, movement and art, including pop culture influences. Each day blends hands-on activities, art, storytelling and teamwork, leading to a joyful Friday performance that celebrates their creativity and global discoveries.
3rd–5th Grades: Global Rhythm Makers
Students will experiment with rhythm, visual art and performance inspired by cultures around the world. They will complete hands-on projects exploring music, dance and cultural traditions while collaborating on creative activities that showcase their learning and imagination.
6th-8th Grades: Pop & World Culture Creators
Middle school learners will collaborate on creative projects and performances, drawing inspiration from music, art and global pop culture. They will explore storytelling, rhythm and artistic expression through group work, culminating in performances and projects that highlight their creativity and cultural insights.
Recommended Ages: K-8th grade
This learning opportunity will be limited to 15 students per age group.
Cost: $225 (Members), $250 (Nonmembers)
A $50 deposit is required to hold your learner's spot. Payment plans are available if taking 2 or more Summer learning opportunities.
Registration Deadline: May 22, 2026
The morning meeting begins at 9 a.m., and all learners should be picked up by 4:15 p.m. Students may register for early bird drop off and midnight owl pick up (8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.) for an additional $10 per student per day. A late fee of $5 will be applied for any learner not enrolled who isn’t picked up by 4:30 p.m.
