The Global Groove Mini-Series is a celebration of movement, music, and culture. Each month, we'll spotlight a different style of dance with a fun, beginner-friendly workshop led by passionate local facilitators.
No dance experience? No worries. These sessions are about joy, connection, and cultural sharingโnot perfection. Come solo or bring a friend. All are welcome!

๐ SESSION 1: HAKA

Learn the meaning, movements, and mana behind the powerful haka. This workshop introduces you to the cultural origins of haka, and gives you space to move, listen, and connect in a respectful and welcoming environment.

๐ SESSION 5: TOADA (Peru)

The Toada is a joyful and flowing dance, inspired by the rivers, forests, and festive spirit of the Peruvian Amazon. Its rhythmic movements celebrate nature, community, and the warmth of the Amazonian people โ an expression of life, joy, and connection through music and dance.
