WHAT: A one-evening festival of flavor and culture in downtown Lafayette to celebrate the rich, diverse, international cultures of our community. Thanks to 24Hour Citizen Project for helping make this happen!

THE CONCEPT: Ten communities serving authentic 'street food' bites for just $1-$3. Try Everything!
ENTRY COST: To come take part and get to try the food, you have to pre-buy a Global Bites passport. You must have a passport to eat. Funds from this goes to putting this event on (security, signage, environmentally friendly plateware and silverware,etc.) and will help send 1-2 local musicians to represent Lafayette away from here. PASSPORTS WILL NOT BE ON SALE AT THE EVENT. Only 250 passports are available so please don't wait to buy them!
PLUS Extra funds raised will go to send local musicians as cultural ambassadors around the world.
HOW DO FOOD SALES WORK? Your passport gets you into the event, but to try the delicious bites, you will need to purchase $1 tickets either on Eventbrite OR at the event. Each country tent will have 2-3 street food options ranging from $1-$3 (think small tasting servings so you can try multiple items before getting too full). All food sales go to the community cooks/chefs and their organization or catering company. CREDIT CARD ONLY. NO CASH ACCEPTED AT THE EVENT.
