About this Event
The Gwinnett Leadership Forum is excited to announce its Guest Speaker for the Spring 2026 Leadership Breakfast event: Chris Hammond. Chris will be speaking on the difference between being a “fan of Jesus” and truly living as a follower of Jesus Christ, and what it means to love your family well and overflow Christ’s ministry into serving others, at the Leadership Breakfast on Thursday, April 23rd at the 1818 Club. Networking will be from 7:30 - 8:00 AM, Chris' presentation from 8:00 - 8:45 AM, and a brief Q&A session from 8:45 - 9:00 AM.
A former Major League Baseball pitcher with more than a dozen seasons in the MLB, Chris played for the Cincinnati Reds, Florida Marlins, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, and of course, Atlanta Braves. Drafted out of Gulf Coast Community College, his professional baseball career gave him a national platform, one he believes God used to prepare him for a greater calling.
Today, Chris is deeply committed to faith, family, and service. Through the Chris Hammond Youth Foundation, he supports athletics programs in underprivileged and rural communities, using sports as a tool to build character, discipline, and purpose in young people.
Join Chris on Thursday, April 23rd as he speaks about his powerful story of perseverance, purpose, and what it truly means to follow Christ - on and off the field.
