Enjoy a full weekend of learning and progression at our 2-Day Reined Cow Horse Clinic with Glenn Wyse, designed to develop the core skills required for reined cow horse in a supportive, well-structured environment.
This clinic is suitable for riders of all levels who can confidently canter their horse and are looking to build or refine their reined cow horse skills. The focus is on developing understanding, confidence, and correct foundations through rein work, mechanical cow use, and live cattle training.
With a maximum of 12 riders, the clinic will be split into two groups, allowing for quality instruction and plenty of individual feedback.
Clinic Format (Both Days)
Group 1: 8:00 – 10:00 am
Group 2: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Lunch: 12:00 – 1:00 pm
Group 1: 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Group 2: 3:00 – 5:00 pm
Each group will receive:
Two hours of instruction in the morning
Two hours of instruction in the afternoon
This format is repeated on both days
Throughout the weekend, Glenn will work with riders on:
Correct and effective rein work
Preparation and positioning using the mechanical cow
Building confidence, timing, and feel on live cattle
Understanding how the pieces come together in reined cow horse competition
Instruction is tailored to the level of the horse and rider, making this clinic ideal for those new to reined cow horse as well as riders wanting to sharpen their skills.
Safety & Requirements
Helmets are recommended for adults
All riders under 18 years must wear a helmet
Waivers must be signed prior to riding
Clinic Fee – $650 per rider
The clinic fee includes:
Glenn’s professional coaching and instruction
Breakfast: Saturday & Sunday
Lunch: Saturday & Sunday
Dinner: Saturday night
All hot and cold drinks for the weekend
A yard for your horse
One powered camping site
Use of a hot water wash bay
Use of the barn kitchenette, including fridge space for drinks
Self-serve tea and coffee, available day and night
Access to bathroom facilities with toilets and showers
Campfire (weather permitting)
This clinic offers a relaxed, community-focused weekend with high-quality instruction—perfect for riders wanting to learn, progress, and enjoy reined cow horse in a supportive setting.
Fence Sitting is $75 per day, including Lunch.
Cooinda Park Equine – Booking Policy
To secure your riding position at any Cooinda Park Equine clinic or event, the following terms and conditions apply:
1. Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of $150 (or as specified for the event) is required at the time of booking to hold your position.
Deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable to other riders, events, or services.
2. Balance Payments
The remaining balance is due 28 days before the start of the clinic or event.
If the balance is not received by this date, your position may be forfeited without refund.
3. Rider Cancellations
More than 28 days before the event: Riders may cancel, but deposits are forfeited. Any balance paid above the deposit will be refunded.
Within 28 days of the event: All payments (deposit and balance) are strictly non-refundable unless your position can be filled from the waitlist.
If your position is filled, a refund of your balance (excluding deposit) will be issued.
4. Transfer of Position
Riders are not permitted to transfer their position to another rider without prior approval from Cooinda Park Equine.
If approved, the new rider must provide full details and agree to these terms and conditions.
5. Event Cancellation by Cooinda Park Equine
In the unlikely event that Cooinda Park Equine cancels an event, riders will receive a full refund, including deposits.
Cooinda Park Equine is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by riders. Cooinda Park recommends rider take out travel insurance.
6. Waitlist Policy
A waitlist will be kept for each event. If you cancel within 28 days and your position is filled from the waitlist, only your balance (excluding deposit) will be refunded.
