We warmly invite you to our annual community event held at St Ben’s Church, 1:30-4:30pm on Sunday 16th February. Let’s gather as seed savers, allotmenteers, growers and gardeners to share seeds, knowledge and skills and build community resilience. Let’s take positive action to preserve and grow crop varieties that suit our area and climate, and share the surplus we have. We welcome those new to gardening and growing too. Entry by donation.We’ll have:
Seed swap tables - bring your seeds to swap and share*
Short informative talks on natural dyeing, biochar and more
Meet the local food growers – support them & find out how you can get involved
Stalls selling local crafts, herbs, plants +
Drinks and homemade cakes available by donation
Noticeboard for anything related to seeds, community food & growing
*Seeds – please sort into small batches and label with variety, date and any tips. You can make a small donation if you have nothing to swap.
If you would like to donate seeds or help to sort seeds, bake a cake, help in the café etc. or have a stall, please get in touch!
