This is a great beginner class or for someone who took our glass fusion classes previously and want to make a different project! We will be learning the art of glass fusion and making a festive rectangular 10” x 3” garden stake (plus a metal stake that will not rust).You get to choose the design!

Materials: All materials and supplies are provided to create a piece similar to those pictured.
Ages: This class is appropriate for adults and accompanied children 14 and over.
Students will learn:
Safety precautions and tips for success.
Different types of glass fusion, glass, and tools used in the art of glass fusion.
How to plan a design for a rectangle garden stake
How to cut glass.
Apply decoration in various forms to create your design.
Basic kiln firing principles (no actual kiln work)
By signing up for this class, you agree to adhere to all safety precautions regarding the creation of fused glass. This project requires a kiln firing and some assembly, so participants may pick up their completed project the following week.
