In the wake of Louis Theroux’s Inside the Manosphere, Masculinity & the Manosphere: A Glasgow Conversation starts from a stark truth: too many young men are being shaped by online spaces that don’t guide them - they sell to them.
The manosphere has filled a gap. But instead of mentorship, it offers manipulation - pushing status, control, and quick wins at the expense of the young men it claims to help.
- Kindness becomes weakness.
- Respect becomes dominance.
- Connection becomes conquest.
And the impact doesn’t stop there! Girls and women are reduced to something to win or consume, rather than people with full lives and ambitions. Relationships become transactional. Identity becomes performance.
