Glasgow Still Lifers
I've always found it easier to be creative around others. As someone who struggles to motivate themselves, and dare I say it, is easily distracted for some reason, I love a shared activity.
My focus this year is going to be learning to draw flowers/plants, so I'm thinking of bringing some plants along that we can sketch together.
Whilst I intend for Cashel Coffee to be our base, I'm hoping to venture out into the wild (most likely Kelvingrove/ botanical gardens) in later meetings once the spring/summer weather arrives. The world is our sketchbook inspiration.
If you prefer to use this as a space to work on your own thing, and even put on your headphones and draw, this works too. I want this to be where anyone can find the space to be creative.
Finally, everyone is welcome. Young, old, queer, trans... I don't think there should be any barriers to this kind of thing
