Giving Black 2025

On October 26th at 5PM, Nourishment 🫧 & The Sickle Cell Society are hosting Giving Black, an evening of creativity to raise awareness about Sickle Cell for Black History Month.

The event is at Brixton Village Studios and is catered accompanied by short films, music, games and a panel discussion.

There will also be a raffle that raises money for The Sickle Cell Society to continue their great work supporting those living with sickle cell with major prizes from our partners and sponsors.

Tickets are free but please consider donating £8 or more towards this good cause.

Travel:

Brixton Village Studios is easily reached by public transport. Located a short walk from Brixton underground station which is connected by the Victoria Line – you can get from Kings Cross to Brixton in 16 minutes, from Oxford Circus in 11 minutes and from Victoria in 8 minutes. Once you exit the station, go left on Brixton Road, turn left onto Electric Avenue and then right onto Electric Lane. Brixton Village will be on your left. You can also access Brixton Village on Popes Road, Coldharbour Lane, Atlantic Road and Brixton Station Road.
