Join the FACC to explore IWD's 2026 theme "Give to Gain," through a French-American dialogue.
About this Event

We're assembling a powerhouse French-American panel of women leaders from Tech, Philanthropy, and Research to decode how the "Giving" mindset fuels real growth. We'll discuss how Leadership isn't just about our climb, it's about who you lift up and who lifted you along the way. Hear authentic stories and strategies for embedding giving into daily leadership.

Featuring:

  • , Partner & Managing Director @
  • , Executive Producer, Mentor & Advocate for Underserved Storytellers
  • , U.S. General Manager & CMO,
  • , Executive Director External and Government Relations @ Verizon
  • , Chief People and Transformation Officer @

In the spirit of transmission, this event is intergenerational. Bring your children (ages 10+) or a +1 student (high school or university) with you to experience the power of networking and community firsthand.

Why This Matters

How do you become a leader? Why become one? From guiding others to taking responsibility without fear, our panelists tackle the heart of leadership—and how you lift others as you rise.

This panel delivers:

  • Cross-cultural perspectives – How do French and American women approach giving differently? What can we learn from each other's playbooks?
  • Leadership strategies decoded – How have these leaders woven "giving" into their professional DNA? From US philanthropic culture to French traditions, each path offers hard-won lessons.
  • Generational bridge-building – Inspire the next wave of female leaders through authentic intergenerational dialogue.
  • Allyship in action – Reflect on how inclusive environments can be built together, and how both women and men can contribute to supporting female leadership.

Bringing the Next Generation

Exposing young people to powerful role models and real talk about leadership is transformative. This event welcomes children and teenagers—especially young women—to experience:

  • Real-world networking in a supportive setting
  • Direct access to leaders who've done the work
  • A window into diverse career trajectories
  • The compound returns of giving back

Parents: Bring your daughters, nieces, and mentees. Show them what leadership actually looks like.
