The 13th annual Give Grandly event is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2025 from 10 am – 2 pm at Gough Park in Silver City. The Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico (CFSNM) and Gila Community Foundation (GCF) will be hosting Southern New Mexico Giving Day, a regional day of giving designed to uplift local nonprofits and celebrate community generosity across 12 Southern New Mexico counties. This year marks the first year the two community foundations are partnering to host the event, growing the impact. Give Grandly on April 18, is the in-person event being held in Silver City.
“Southern New Mexico is built on neighbors helping neighbors,” said Stephen Lindsey, Board Chair of the Gila Community Foundation. “The 2026 Southern New Mexico Giving Day is about shining a light on the nonprofits that quietly hold our communities together and giving everyone a simple, powerful way to say, “We see you. We're with you.”
Give Grandly raises funds to support the vital work of nonprofits across southwest New Mexico. These funds provide critical general operating support that local nonprofits rely on to sustain and grow their impact. From food security to youth programs, arts and culture to environmental stewardship— donations help ensure these organizations can continue to serve our communities year-round.
This year, donations are accepted online at southernnewmexicogivingday.org starting April 13, 2026 through April 24, 2026. Please note that donations need to be made directly to each nonprofit you want to support. Checks to the Community Foundation that support a nonprofit not fiscally sponsored by GCF will be returned to the donor.
The Give Grandly in-person giving day will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Gough Park in Silver City. Participating nonprofits will have tables with staff and volunteers to highlight their work on behalf of southwest New Mexico, answer your questions, and accept donations by cash, check or credit cards.
