Give Your Linen a New Life🌍♻️Newcastle residents - do you have old sheets, towels or tablecloths taking up space? On Saturday 30 May, you can recycle your worn-out linen at our Give a Sheet event!
We've partnered with Blocktexx, an Australian recycler pioneering innovative technology to separate cotton and polyester from textiles such as bed sheets and bath towels.
📅 When: Saturday, 30 May 2026
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
📍 Where: Newcastle TAFE Student Car Park, 266 Maitland Rd, Tighes Hill (Opposite Henry Street)
🛏 Accepted: Household linen made from 100% cotton and/or polyester only
🚫 Not accepted: Clothing, wool, silk or other unapproved materials
Drop off your old linen to keep it out of landfill and help build a circular textile economy.
