Bernie from Give a Kid a Blanket will be joining us from 11am onwards.
We are currently taking donations and will complete this years collection with our Fill The Truck Challenge & we need your help.
These donations go directly to the families in need, made into packs of what they need, for how they live and who is in their families. This happens with the help of social workers, community health workers and Police teams who are working directly with Give a Kid a Blanket.
We would love it if you could get behind us, donate even one warm blanket, pair so socks, PJ's. Maybe you can hold a collection at place of work?
What we need is new or excellent used quality items of the following:
Warm bedding including duvet inners and covers - of all sizes
Blankets - of all sizes
Sheets - of all sizes
Infant sleeping sacks
Warm clothing for the whole family
Socks
PJ’s and Dressing gowns
Jackets
Beanies
Gloves
New pillows and new hot water bottles (These items must be new please).
We also always love receiving quality used bassinets, port a cots, carseats (still current) & prams.
And if you know any knitters or quilters - we always adore items that have been so lovingly made - they really are cherished by those they are gifted to.
