Join YMCA Northern Alberta for Girls on Boards, a welcoming skateboarding event for girls and gender-expansive individuals of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re stepping on a skateboard for the first time or already have experience, this event is about building confidence, community, and creating space for everyone to belong.Participants will have the chance to learn skateboarding basics, practice new skills, and connect across ages through shared experiences. Older youth are encouraged to support and guide younger participants, helping create a positive environment where skills, encouragement, and confidence can be passed forward.
