Girlhood Rising: 3 Day Confidence Camp for Girls 11-14
To the mom who wants more for her daughter.
More confidence. More peace. Less comparing, less people pleasing, less carrying the weight of everyone else's opinions.
You don't have to be struggling to need this. You just have to be a girl growing up right now and that's enough.
Every activity at Girlhood Rising is built around our RISE framework. Resilience, Identity, Self Confidence and Enough. Each day has its own energy but all three days are building toward the same thing. Her walking out knowing exactly who she is and owning every bit of it.
Resilience gets into the real stuff. Friend drama, social pressure, the moments that are hard to navigate. She will learn how to handle them without losing herself in the process.
Identity is about her defining herself before the world does it for her. Through honest reflection and creative activities she will leave with a clearer sense of who she actually is.
Self Confidence is treated like the skill it actually is. Through challenges and real practice she will learn how to call it up when she needs it most.
Enough is our heartbeat. This is where she stops comparing, stops shrinking and stops chasing everyone else's opinion of her. She will leave knowing her worth is not based on likes, looks or who likes her back. She does not have to earn her place in any room. She never did.
Select days will also feature special guest speakers bringing their own story, perspective and magic to the room.
And woven through all of it, music, laughter and moments she will talk about long after summer ends.
She'll walk in as herself. She'll walk out as more herself.
And you'll feel it the moment she gets in the car.
This camp was built from something real. For three years I have run Girl Talk, a free empowerment program inside the middle school where I work.
I have watched girls transform right in front of me and I know what they are capable of when they are given the right space.
Girlhood Rising is me expanding that reach because every girl deserves access to this, not just the ones in my building.
