Girl Winter is a collection of femme-forward and gender-nonconforming ski and snowboard films created to shift the narrative of who we see on the big screen each fall and uplift new voices in snow storytelling.
Back for its second year, the Girl Winter Film Tour continues to celebrate women and underrepresented communities in snow sports—creating space for connection, inspiration, and stoke both on and off the mountain.
Join us and Fireside at Five for a special bonus stop on the tour at BASECAMP Market Station on Sunday, December 7th from 1 PM – 4 PM.
The 75-minute screening will feature six standout films highlighting the collective experience of women in the ski industry, including:
- Mimic — featuring Piper Kunst, directed by Piper Kunst & Hadley Michaels
- Trails Still Blazing — featuring Megan McJames, directed by Iz La Motte
- Queen of the Catskills — featuring Julie McGuire, directed by Jamie Kennard
- Dear Superhero — featuring Janina Kuzma, directed and edited by Corinna Marie Haloran and Jase Hancox
- Let My People Go Skiing — featuring & directed by Ellen Bradley
- That One Friend — featuring Sierra Schlag and Waverly Chin, directed by Sara Beam Robbins and Grant Robbins
