June 1st is Girl Scout Day at Adventureland (theme park and water park) in Des Moines, IA. Participants would go down for the day and return that night. The cost for the ticket into Adventureland is $39 per girl if the cost is not covered by their troop. Other likely costs for the day could include things like food and transportation. Troops must meet their own safety ratios/make their own transportation plans or troops can collaborate with another troop or Service Unit 616 to make sure these are covered. Girls may also come with their families. Family members are also able to pay the Girl Scout rate.
