Presented by Friends of the Museums (FOM), this tour is for all history and heritage enthusiasts looking to explore the treasures of Gillman Barracks. Presented by Friends of the Museums (FOM), this walkabout is for all members of the public to explore the heritage of Gillman Barracks and its history as a former military training ground and its transformation into a life-style hub .
Please note this tour involves some outdoor walking* so wear comfortable shoes, bring water and an umbrella for rain or shine. Please be on time as the tour will start at 5:00 pm.
Our tours are made possible thanks to the unwavering dedication of our volunteer tour guides. Therefore, we kindly ask that you refrain from signing up if you are uncertain about your schedule. Should you need to cancel, we request that you do so at least 24 hours in advance. This not only honors the time and effort our volunteers invest in creating memorable tours but also ensures that others have the opportunity to participate. Please be aware that in the event of a no-show or last-minute cancellation, we reserve the right to decline your participation in any future tours. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Participants will be informed of any tour cancellation at least 4 hours prior to the tour date, so please check your emails before heading to Gillman Barracks.

Cancelled Tours:
Tours are subject to a minimum number of registered visitors. Please contact us if you are unable to join the tour you've registered for.
In case a tour is cancelled, we will notify you 4 hours prior to the start.
