Come and help us raise funds for medical and aid organisations* on the ground in Palestine, delivering medical treatment, aid relief and support to the hundreds of thousands of civilians who are suffering terror and genocide in their homeland.
We are doing this with a concert featuring live bands and acoustic artists paying tribute to our heroes in the music industry who have taken a stand against genocide and called for a free Palestine...
... at personal cost: cancelled shows, legal action, cancelled visas, threats... just because they have chosen to stand up for what they know is morally right. At a time where so much of the music industry has lost its soul, its conscience (and their tongues it would seem)...
… these artists have demonstrated the righteous rebelliousness that epitomises ROCK 'N ROLL!!!
This event will feature some of Perth's best tribute bands performing the music of: Green Day, System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine and covers from popular artists standing on the right side of history. Plus a separate acoustic stage featuring local performers playing songs by artists like: Crowded House, Roger Waters, Damon Albarn, James Blunt, Sinead O’Connor, Billy Bragg, Annie Lennox, Coldplay and more.
It seems like the world has gone mad, so many of our political leaders are complicit, or cowardly, and it can seem at times like each of us is on our own, powerless to do anything but witness in disbelief, this horror unfolding. This event will celebrate the good people. Those with a conscience. Not just the heroes on the ground in Gaza... but also YOU and your friends! There are actually A LOT of us that care. From all backgrounds. Anyone is welcome. Watching the world’s first live-streamed genocide, alone, on your phone can destroy your faith in humanity!
So come and be amongst like-minded people.
Come and stand in solidarity with the innocent civilians of Palestine.
Come and support those risking their lives to save the lives of others.
Come and raise your voices and a fist in the air in defiance of those in power that tell us to sit back and watch and accept the unacceptable.
